200 Club

The 200 Club raises a significant amount for the Parish.
It only costs 50p per week for each number and you can hold as many numbers as you like. Draws are held monthly in St Dominic's Church Hall after 10:30 Mass.
If you would like to join please contact Mrs Sue Whitney tel: 01453 542410 or see her after the 10:30 Sunday Mass in Dursley.

The winners are published in the weekly newletter.

Fundraising

As well as raising money to maintain and improve the church property, we also raise money to support a different charity each year.  

Charities we have supported in the past include:

2019: The Tallinding Project

2020: Clifton Refugee Sponsorship

2021: Stella Maris (the Apostleship of the Sea) 

2022: Illuminate (Charity supported by Churches Together)

2023: 5th Gospel Christians who support Christian Iraqis living in Jordan

2024:  St Dominic's Hall. We are planning a major refurbishment of St Dominic's Hall. It was built in the 1950's and still has the original structure with its utilitarian appearance and almost complete lack of any insulation.  This results in much energy being wasted and it being very difficult to keep warm.  The cost is likely to be over £100,000 which will hopefully be funded by grants, donations and a great deal of fundraising.

Social Events

The next event is a Parish Breakfast on Sunday 15th September 2024 at 9.00am in the hall before Mass.  A dispensation has been given not to keep the hour fast before Holy Communion on this occasion. There is a sheet to sign up and order your breakfast at the back of the churches.  Cost £5. All proceeds to the Hall Fund. Any questions see Laura or Pat. OPEN TO BOTH PARISHES
